Continental Chic (Ruger)

2019  buckskin colt - Reserved

By World Champion Reiner, LEITACHIC, out of a granddaughter of  CONTINENTAL CAD, a top rope horse sire in the Northwest, known for substance, bone, a great mind, and success as a sire of successful working horses.

This little guy is friendly! With very little handling he comes right up for attention. Halter broke, loads, LOVES scritches and grooming, accepts restraint, and doesn't spit out his wormer meds. Fancy buckskin with just a dab of chrome. Should mature around 15.1

5-panel negative through parentage.

Peppys Lil Spoon (River)

By cowhorse and barrel horse sire, LIL SPOON, and out of an own daughter of PEPPY BADGER CHEX, this is one fancy black stud colt.

Should mature around 15.0 hands.

5-panel negative through parentage.

Mr Boomerchic (Rowdy)

2018 bay gelding - $5500

We call him Rowdy because you won't find a more laid-back, easy-going yearling.

Flashy, but kind, Rowdy is a bit on the smallish side, and may mature only around 14 - 14.2 hands. His parents, World Champion Reiner, LEITACHIC, and Snaffle Bit Futurity debutante, BOOM IN THE NIGHT, are 15 hands and 14.3 respectively, so he could just be a late bloomer.

He has good bone, great feet, and is a very good mover. Halter broke, loads, hauls, easy to groom, spray, wash, worm, vet, etc. Like all our sales horses, he is UTD on worming, vaccines (5-way + West Nile), and hoof trims. 5-panel negative through parentage.

Leitachics Raider (Raider

2019 sorrel colt - $4500

By World Champion Reiner, LEITACHIC, out of a granddaughter of  CONTINENTAL CAD, a top rope horse sire in the Northwest, known for substance, bone, a great mind, and success as a sire of successful working horses.

This colt is just so friendly and willing. Raider was pulled from the pasture after a month of no handling and behaved like a perfect gentleman. He will be a big, solid horse someday, maturing around 15.1 He'll have a flaxen mane like his pop, with lots of "roaning" white hairs throughout his coat.

5-panel negative through parentage.

Spoon Me A Lil (Lily)

2019 Homozygous Black Filly - $6500

Lily is one of the last foals from our foundation broodmare, PEPPYSLILBITACLASS, who was an own daughter of PEPPY BADGER CHEX. Lily has grace and spunk. She is an elegant, low-headed mover and has the breeding and athleticism to make a very elegant Ranch Riding horse, reiner, cowhorse, or barrel horse like her sister, Coco. (See Sold Horses.)

Lily's sire, LIL SPOON (a son of HES A PEPTOSPOONFUL out of a daughter of SMART LITTLE LENA), was not shown due to an early bout of EPM, but has sired many winning offspring.

Coming two, Lily is ready to go any direction you want. She should mature right at 15 hands. She is 5-panel negative through parentage, and eligible for our "family discount" breeding to LEITACHIC.

Runnin Outa Cash
(The two-year-old)

2017 sorrel gelding -  $7500

Just a gorgeous gelding. Elegant and correct, with great bone, feet, movement and attitude. Excellent ground manners - trim, clip, flyspray, worm, etc. Loads and hauls. Raised on rough ground with other horses, so he is very sure-footed and knows how to handle himself. Started under saddle he is sensible and athletic, should excel as a reiner, as that's what he's bred for, but could do most any job. Should mature at 15 to 15.1 hands.

His sire, Nu Steps to Cash (by Wimpys Little Step) is very smooth-riding and low headed, an NRHA
money earner, and sire of money-earners. His dam, Run Till Your Dun, is by Shine Like Hail, World Champion Open Snaffle Bit Reserve Champion, and out of Dun Its Black Gold (NRHA's producer of the year for 2013), making her a full sister to Black Hails Gold (earner of $173K+) and maternal 1/2 sister to HF MOBSTER.

A Vintage Gangster (Bonnie)

2018 sorrel filly  - $12,000

Bonnie is one of those breedings we had been waiting for, crossing a Chic mare with a top Shiner stallion. She is incredibly kind, correct, and well-built. If color is your thing, then keep looking, but if EVERYTHING ELSE in a great horse matters to you, then we'd love to talk to you about Bonnie.

Her dam, ELEGANT GANGSTER, has produced three foals for us, the first (Smart Trickochet) has qualified for the 2019 World Show in Ranch Riding. Bonnie's sire, A SPARKLING VINTAGE (by SHINING SPARK, NRHA Hall of Fame), is an NRHA Million Dollar Sire and earner of $82,000. He is also the sire of NOT RUF AT ALL and PLATINUM VINTAGE.

Elegant Chic (Penny)

2016 sorrel filly - NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

Penny’s got skills! From the beginning, this little one could turn inside out in less space than it takes me to tie my shoes. Her turn arounds are fast and getting more consistent all the time. Very feely and responsive. She is one of the most honest horses you will find, with bottomless try, and loads of natural talent! She really wants to stop. Plus, she is just the sweetest thing, and with the great reining foundation she has, she is ready to go in any direction you want!

Penny's sire, LEITACHIC, is a World Champion NRHA Reiner, FEI finisher, multi-time AQHA World Show qualifier, and an all-around great guy.

Zolas Got Class (Zola)

2016 grulla filly - $8500

Zola is in a class by herself, but that was too long of a name for the AQHA to register. She is laid-back and unflappable. Strong, correct and has a personality that won’t quit. She is going well under saddle and showing a ton of talent as a reiner or ranching riding horse. She is smooth riding, and a joy to train - learns easily and readily. Currently, just over 14.1, we expect her to mature around 14.3

Zola's dam, Peppyslilbitaclass, is an own daughter of PEPPY BADGER CHEX. Her sire, Dun It OK (by Definitely a Dunit, by HOLLYWOOD DUN IT) has points in AQHA Open Reining and is an NRHA/RHANW money earner. Zola is 5-panel N/N and homozygous black, meaning she will never produce a red foal.

This first video is fun because it shows how much she learned early on. This is about her 6th ride as a two-year-old.

This video shows her after going to a new home, not ridden for about two months, coming back to us and getting only a few rides in before being put out to pasture again. This girl is sweet, smart, and able - give her consistent training and she will be unbeatable.

We are also offering select broodmares for sale in foal! Check out Rum N Reno, Mighty High Pistol and Rain N Sun on our Broodmare page.
